He had a slight case of laryngitis and couldn&#8217;t sing as well as he had hoped to. At the end of the show, he came out and said that they were appearing in Chicago two nights later and if anyone came down to Chicago from Milwaukee with their ticket stubs, he would make sure that we got into the show for free. It was at the Rosemont Horizon (Coliseum). They opened up the back of the stage and sat all the milwaukee people behind the stage. Our front rows were closer to the stage than the persons that paid to see the show. He mugged for us all night, it was so cool! One of my all-time favorites! Man, that lead singer can wail! He may have passed on, I seem to remember there were two brothers (Metlocke?), but also part Amer. Indian. Lead singer brother had long straight hair all the way to his knees. Guitar playing brother is now lead guitarist for another big band, I just dont remember, but Blackfoot is officially disbanded about 10-15 years ago. Boy, do I remember a party when I saw the Outlaws open for them many years back. About 12 years ago got to see the Southern Spirit tour, with Marshall Tucker, Outlaws, .38 Special, and the Barefoot Servants ( John Butcher Axis) at Red Rocks in CO. Took the Harley and the wife.
