I liked the Matrix. The first one. And V for Vendetta, Fight Club, Braveheart, and The Fifth Element.
“This is getting a little too far off topic here.”
Um, it’s the topic he started, so I’m pretty sure it’s on topic.

Come on FiNiX, get into it, this is a way for us to get to know each other better. I’m heavily into comedies, but also some tearjerkers, too. As far as religious movies, most of them aren’t very good (I am talking about direction, editing, acting, etc.) One fairly good religious movie was called “The Bible”. I don’t know if any of you will remember it, early 70’s, I think. (Aside to JT, the Sodom and Gomorrah section was very well done). They spent some big money on that movie and it shows.

We were forced to watch the TEN COMMANDMENTS when I was a lad in school…It was all very odd and confusing as I hadn’t been brought up with the stories…Great music as I recall…Wizard of Oz had witches, some good, some needing Valium…Religious folk don’t approve of this film I’m told…I loved it…Winged monkeys…u rock…

This is your topic ratboy. It seems that you mean for us to talk about regular motion pictures. There is another topic for videos, its the third one down from the top of the list (of course, I have yet to see anyone use that topic).

Kowalski is a 10/10 Christ-figure but he’s violent, sexy, amoral, skillful…
It’s like-sure all that love and understanding is fine, but if you can’t handle your shit it don’t matter what you love or understand…
You got to love 'Vanishing Point' (1971)

Dammit. I really hate saying this, given our speculating on the motivation/ purpose behind this forum, but my favorite movie ever is…Omega Man. Followed by Dirty Dozen and The Outlaw Josie Wales.

Existenz really worked my brain a lot harder than the matrix did, so if you loved the Matrix premise go for that movie. Matrix actions pwns though.
Anyone ever see Contact?
