Penile references aside, Spam rocks. Love the stuff. My survivalist cabinet is heavily stocked with it. It is cookable in almost every way, except one: never attempt to crockpot a stew with it. Never. Slow braised Spam is nasty- something about that cooking technique removes it’s inherent deliciousness, and just makes it smooth, slick, wet, pink meat.
