I linked through a google and on the New! and Improved! Atheist.com. official website of American Atheists, Inc. (I think they are still incorporated) I like this site much better, and I pay dues to them, too (!)

I saw an advertisement on Flixster….. which I would noramlly have paid no attention to, except I realized I had just seen that poster in the movie I Am Legend.

So… what the heck is this place anyway????

I was reading an article on space.com and saw the cryptic biohazard & GSLU solgan. Couldn’t help but join. Given the advertising muscle and the alleged backing by Time-Warner this is probably some corporate viral advertising campaign masquerading as a freelance think-tank. This site’s open-endedness has the stink of big media cynicism: an attempt to use ‘vague’ as a stand-in for ‘cool’ and to be all things to all people.

Someday I’m probably going to kick myself for having been part of that “God Still Loves Us” crock just as I do for having danced the Macarena back in the ‘90s.

i saw an ad on vampirefreaks.com

some free forum set up by a nationstates group. It appeared on every darned page until I clicked on it, but I can’t find it now. Typical.

i don’t think the site is advertising as much lately, and i notice on one of their video links, that site says not accepted for standard viewing or something like that. But the video still has over 2000 hits, tho.

I kept seeing the banner on an RPG forum. Hopped over, found an article I liked, vowed I wouldn’t get in too deep, and violated that vow. Now, apparently, I’m pushing 300 posts. Don’t think I’ll ever beat RB.

I searched I AM LEGEND on youtubeand an add popped up on the side(which was also how I fugured outt hat this was tied ti IAL) i didn’t join rigth away though. i decided to do so a couple weeks after mmy discovery of this site.
