1. How about making the 4 of us that have the most vested interest here (read most posts) moderators? Including the ability to make a sticky topic.

AL, some management capablity would be killer. In this format, only able to use forums to communicate, it is very difficult, and I hated to go off-topic to those guys, just to tell you to follow me to another thread (which would be topical because of my subject). Then you did follow me to that thread and of course, my post wasn’t ready, it took about 15 min. to compose it, making you wait all that time, tapping your foot, so to speak. I am used to more stuff, yes, I’m computer illiterate, but on some sites you have a mailbox and other cool features. Of course, some of those are pay sites. You can’t expect free sites to hand out luxury accomodations. But we could use a few more here if we are to manage our time here more effectively. And i think that goes for everyone here, not just the Fab Four. Pardon my idiocy, but what is a sticky topic, I mean, I saw them but don’t know what they are. (I am imagining that no one can delete them?) (Am I right? Am I? Am I? Huh?) See you later, my friend.

Also, now that I think of it, you have mentioned some of these things before. Do you yet have any idea who created this site, etc., I note that you call someone by name. I have done no investigating, no matter what my feelings on mysteries (lol), just haven’t had the extra time, but appears you have. Is it possible that the creators of the site are just putting it out there, so to speak, just to see what we’ll do with it? I kinda hope not, because with the way the site is set up now, some aspects are approaching bedlam (!) And, I’m sure that an experiment like that has been tried before by others just to see what would happen. Well, I don’t know, but would like to. Thank you so for your efforts to make things easier around here.

Hey, Kookoo, don’t ever worry about making me wait for you to post. I certainly appreciate what you have to say enough to hang out for fifteen minutes. As it worked out I had to go home from work in that time so I only taped my foot for about a minute anyway. A sticky is a topic that doesn’t move down the order irregardless of responses to it. An as far as a name, the only one I threw out there was mine at the end of my post…. Due to the bare bones nature of this site I really don’t think they spent much money to get it up and running, nor do I think anyone with AUTHORITY spends much time reading our banter. For one of the largest corporations in the world to set up something of this nature and give away a laptop, a camera, and some software is the equivalent to a coffee shop giving out free sugar for their coffee. I imagine this is a pet project of of a bored manager somewhere….checking in on us when he’s tired of his mundane existence as it were. But maybe your right JT,and it is all an elaborate plan to hunt us down and control us or snuff us out. RB, as always, thanks for the laugh. :)

Luckily, JT would never let anyone snuff us out. He would even know before they thought of it, he’s that good!

- See the links at the bottom of the page as well where you can now monitor discussion topics (select “monitor topic” in top right of each forum thread you want to follow.) You can also edit your profile including bio information and avatar (go to gravatar.com to create your avatar).
- Recent posts (What’s new since your last login)

We will also be reorganizing some of the discussions to make them easier to follow. We will be watching the forums for your feedback.

How about a Quote button that would put the author of a post and what they wrote in a smaller box in your reply box? Just a thought…
