OK, AL, will explain, Lancelot remarks that his strength is due to his purity or some such thing and Guenevere (when she still hates him) mutters yeah but obviously not to your humility, and Lance goes “What?” (now, remember, Lance is French) so she says “ooh mil eh tay” (just like that, with all those little pauses) Everytime I hear the word humility, for some reason, I hear “ooh mil eh tay”. Every actress I’ve seen in the role says it exactly the same way. I’ve seen it about 50-60 times if you include the movie in my count (I saw it once and one time only with RICHARD BURTON! he can’t sing for shit, but who cares! it was RICHARD BURTON!) Do you attend theater, opera, ballet, etc.? (did I mention, it was RICHARD BURTON!)
rb, he plans to start using syntax (he already was, just didn’t know it) and being succinct. He has been out touring the site, next, the crowned heads of Europe. Her maj loves him so, heard she may usurp my adoption plans. Now he will have a whole castle, would that I could provide for him in such a fashion.

In response to BlueSox’s post about replacing the U for Unity with an H for Humility, I say why replace Unity with Humility? They can coexist, and one of the only ways to achieve unity is through humility… I’m not implying that BlueSox is wrong by any means… In fact I agree with what he said entirely… I’m just saying that, as others have said, “PLHR” is harder to pronounce, but why can’t Humility be included in PLUR? It’s a great thing to include among Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect.
I came up with a couple of ways to do that (in fact, that’s my entire reason for posting this, lol)

The first possibility I thought of was “PHLUR” (it goes without saying that the PH makes the F sound… wait, if that’s true, why did I say it? Anyway…)

The second possibility was “PLUHR”... It would still be pronounced the same as PLUR… At least I think it would be…

Anyway, I’d never heard PLUR before until I came to this site, so I don’t know if it’s like, some widely-used phrase or anything… All I really know about it is all in this thread… For which I am grateful because I was getting really confused reading it in all the other threads, lol…

Glad to see you still breathing, Zil. Words are very sharp weapons and I use the both the point and the blade. Using weaponry doesn’t seem peaceful, I know. Peace is good, But sometimes, one must fight regardless of one’s opinion of peace. I don’t always know when I should go to war and when I shouldn’t. So, I can be mistaken and I won’t usually admit it. But everybody makes mistakes and everybody dislikes admitting to them no matter how bad the mistake. Chess looks peaceful, but it is a game of war. Looks can be deceiving. Love is good, too. Love of country, divine love, making love, love your neighbor, so many more. But people say love is blind, too. If love is blind, maybe not so good. Unity, good, yes, but I still see problems. Flocks of sheep are unified, but in order to get them to do what you want, you have to drive them, but you are protecting them when you do that, sheep don’t know how to protect themselves. People do know how to protect themselves or at least should know how to do so. Yet they sometimes gather themselves into similar flocks and go along with what they are told to do. I know how to protect myself, I fervently hope that you do, too. And, lastly, respect. I DO practice it. Respect of other persons. I have lots of ideas, thoughts, beliefs (yeah, atheists have no belief system, I know). I respect my ideas. You have ideas and beliefs, too. I can respect you personally, but I have said before that I do not have to respect your ideas, nor you, mine. That thought is obviously my belief, but why should you have to respect my belief? You don’t have to! It’s a little like love the sinner, hate the sin. and see, love jumps right back into it for another go-round, yet with exceptions. Exceptions that I have been pointing out throughout this “rant”. You see, I can rant peacefully, with love unity and respect, but again, with exceptions. Now I hope that you see how I think it works, but no one is going to force you to do so, least of all me. Kindness is important to me, too. And I was unkind to you, I admit it, and not as difficult an admission as above, after all. Thank you for your input on this site. This place, while “new”, has somehow become very important to me (tiny little lol). I feel the need to protect it, there is one of my thoughts on unity coming around again…and, hey, that thought may not be a very good one, you tell me, I may feel the need to protect both the site and that thought, too. Can you respect that? You know you don’t have to…and I want your opinion, I may not respect it, but I do value it. I hope that you will see some value in our future discussions.
