well, being gay myself I believe that I am not considered a finished product from God. If I was, I’d already be dead. I am a work in progress and God will accept the finish piece regardless of being homosexual. Everybody out there like to say it’s a sin and we are ALL gonna burn in hell for this. Truth is, we don’t know the end game. God alone does. The Bible is His word but there is NO end to His word, right? Who says God is done talking? That everything is final? There is no end to His Word because He has no end. Remeber the Alpha and Omega part? So if God has no end, whose to say that when this is all said and done that He changes his mind? Truth is, none of us will know until we die and find the answer. And then, we can’t come back to tell our fellows. My homosexuality is between me and Him and no body else. Sorry…..

^^ I agree with you because also being gay myself I think that it is alright. God may be in charge of our destiny but for this part of it he’s not. I guess that you can choose to be gay or not mabey it’s just part of you. You shouldn’t be told that you will go to hell just because your gay. God hasn’t made everything final we all have a place in this world and nobody desreves to be discriminated against.

Homosexuality doesn’t really hurt anyone so i don’t believe it’s bad. how do we know that males are suppose to only love females when it could possibly be something a little messed up like men only could fall in love with other men, while females coulden’t fall in love with neither male nore female but coul only be used for reprodcution

It’s unnatural but then again so is man walking on the moon. Homosexuals are God’s children too. Jesus wouldn’t shun them, and neither should we. It doesn’t bother me personally. If we breed less, no big deal. There’s plenty. I’m quite sure that at this point we’ve satisfied the job of going forth and multiplying.

okay. God made only men and women. He did not create men with the soul of a woman. Homosexuality is sin. i believe much of the answers to questions about homosexuality can be found in Romans chapter1. i still need to study more on this text in this respect. homosexuality stems from the same root as other shameful sins and acts, such as sex with animals. it’s a worship issue. although we know or knew God, we didn’t worship him, but we worshiped his creation instead. we suppressed his truth so that we can go on our own way. so God gave us over to such stupid things. our sin and sinful desires got worse. then homosexuality was borne into the world. thats how far i understand romans1 on the issue. good thing, just a few chapters away, there’s hope for all of us, may we have been involved in homosexuality or not. that hope, in Christ Jesus our Lord. it is also an identity issue, i think. homo-gays may have had some experience in life wherein their self image was severly wounded, and they found some refuge in accepting that they are homo for some wierd reason. some, just because they fallen to lust, or infatuation atleast, for another guy, accepted that they are homo. and since that is what they decided to believe about themselves, thats what they are and thats what they continue to do.

Homosexuality is not an evil thing. The true evil in this world is ignorance of people, the hatred we have for each other just because we are different in the little ways. People are not evil because of their sexual affiliation; people are evil when they choose hate over love, war over peace, cruelty over compassion. Being evil is a choice.

There are plenty of heterosexuals in the world that can go forth and multiply. There are also hetersexuals who choose not to, such as priests (I would imagine that any homosexual priests, if there are any, would also choose not to breed). I don’t think that homosexuals are going to be able to convince the mostly heterosexual world to stop having children, so the no children, no future thing is moot. There are plenty of children in the world. Some would say too many, but I don’t feel that way. There is only room for a finite number of people on the planet. We will probably have to stop breeding for awhile once that threshold has been reached. I have no opinion on overpopulation. I think each family should have children according to their ability to provide for those children. A family needs to guide their children so that they are able to become productive members of society. Some parents can do that for many children, some for less according to their parenting abilities and and their resources.

John had some good things to say, in 1 John, chapter 4. I like how he finishes with this: 19. We love because he first loved us. 20. If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.
Note he didn’t say “We love women because he first loved us…” or “Whoever loves god must also love his brother, unless that brother loves Men too much.”.
I don’t generally like Paul’s works, but – 1 Corinthians 13: And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Love comes from God.

Homosexuality is somthing that is completly natural human emotion. When you call Homesexuality “counter-Produtive” I don’t see what your talking about. Besides it’s true that there are enough children in the world and you can always adopt from a foster home you have a chance to give a kid a better life by adopting anyways. Also (nukem) why are you trying to realate the “act” of homesxuality to having sex with animals, it’s no the same thing. For most gay people they didn’t ignore their feelings they didn’t ignore god. Homosexuality ywasn’t borne from sin it just came into this world and stayed just like a lot of things. Doesn’t one of the commanments state “love thy neighbour” how can you do that if your an ignorant homophobic fool who deson’t accept people for who they are. So excuse me for going off on you mabey you just might want to stop seeing the world as black and white for a second. < too all people who support homexualtiy as not a sin is enough thanks. TO ALL people who think that homosexuals are sinful or being gay is a sin you have and issue and I think you should go and see a therpist to get past your anger. or whatever it may be. ~Fiji

I see nothing wrong with homosexuality because if God didn’t want it to exist, he wouldn’t have made us the way we are. I’m not even sure what my sexual preference is, I’ve never been in a relationship of any kind, but I see beauty in all it’s forms, taboo or not. But I don’t think I’d have to courage to act on any feelings I’d have on someone of the same sex.

Homosexuality is not harmless. It is largely responsible (over 70% of HIV is spread through male to male homosexual contact). These are the facts.
According the Bible, homosexuality is a sin. We can rationalize our behavior but it does not change God’s view of it, only our feelings about it.

Homosexuality is NOT a sin! The act of having Homosexuality sex is a sin this is true. Howeverjust begin Homosexual is not a sin. Also all sins are equal in Gods eyes. So having man to man sex is no worst than lying, stealing, or cheating. Who are you to judge?
The Bible tells us to love all as God loves you. Unconditionally.
Hating someone for being Homosexual is just as bad as racism

“well, being gay myself I believe that I am not considered a finished product from God. If I was, I’d already be dead. I am a work in progress and God will accept the finish piece regardless of being homosexual.”
Cheers I like your interpretation of god; he sounds nice. ^^
“It’s unnatural but then again so is man walking on the moon. Homosexuals are God’s children too.”
Well, truth be told, “what’s natural,” is a matter of personal oppinion. Personally, I think the terms “normal” and “natural” are pointless phrases, because they can be applied to pretty much anything.
“I have no opinion on overpopulation. I think each family should have children according to their ability to provide for those children.”
I think that it is cruel to have children that you cannot support, but outside of that, I think it is up to each individual couple to choose based upon personal oppinion, taking overpopulation into account.
Personally, for the sake of overpopulation, I would respect a couple with fewer than four children more than I would the respect the alternative, but I would not enforce my views onto others.
“According the Bible, homosexuality is a sin. We can rationalize our behavior but it does not change God’s view of it, only our feelings about it.”
That depends upon how you interpret the bible. Please don’t treat belief as you would fact.

The fact of the matter is this. According to Mosaic law as outlined in Leviticus, a man shall not lay with another man as one would lay with a woman. It doesn’t get any plainer than this. Homosexual sex is a sin. (The state of being attracted alone is not defined a sin, however, only the act. It is my belief that the state of being homosexual is caused by many factors ranging from genes, to environment, to choice). But many forget that all sins are equal in the eyes of God, and thus we are all deserving of damnation. Many also forget that God commanded that we honor our mother and our father. That we should not steal, or kill. That we should not cheat on our spouses, or have sex with our family members. We also shouldn’t eat shellfish. Some say part of mosaic law was abolished and some was kept. Which is it? Last I checked, Jesus said he didn’t come to abolish the law, but to complete it. One sin in our lives (and we all have many, as it is our human nature to sin every since the fall of Man in the garden of Eden) has corrupted us for good. We cannot be imperfect and dwell with a perfect God. We need righteousness. But it is not our righteousness, but His holy righteousness. Matthew 5, the beatitudes, mentions that all who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled. We aren’t filled with our good doing, but with His good deed.
My point is this. You lying to your best friend is no better than you talking back to your mom, which is no better than two men having sex. However they all happen everyday, and we are guilty of sin after sin after sin. We will never get it 100% right, the only person who did was Jesus! And only by his blood are we saved! I’m not encouraging sin! No, I’m only saying that, as Jesus said, Judge not, lest ye be judged! Take a look in the mirror before you begin throwing stones.
You are just as guilty as your homosexual neighbor! You should be at your bedside praising the Lord for saving you, not harassing homosexuals because you think their sin is more despicable than yours! Those are the whispers of the enemy, keeping you from communing with God and repenting for your own misdoings!
To Finix, what I’ve laid out here is indeed fact, it is the fact of the Gospel! God came down and swept us up from our muddy pits where we wallow in our filth like swine, and cleaned us off, new creatures in Him!
Bottom Line, Homosexual acts are sins, So is everything else we manage to dismiss as “okay” in our daily lives like premarital sex and stealing songs on the Internet.
We are ALL guilty. Now stop whining about other people and focus on those who don’t know the gift of everlasting life our Lord has provided!

Dragonbringer, Your harassment to our brothers in God is just as insulting to our Lord as any homosexual act.
Homosexual attraction is sometimes choice, sometimes environmental, regardless, the acts are the sins.
Also, protip: God forgives all our sins if we pursue Christ, not just the ones we remember to repent for.
You know that time you cussed out your relative, dragonbringer? Yeah, God does. But he won’t when you plead the blood. It’ll be as though it never happened.
