My daughter is currently studying in Sheffield. I’ve only touched ground in England and Ireland at the airports on the way to somewhere else. However if she stays there long enough, I’m sure we’ll visit her at some point. My paternal Grandfather was British after all, so I should look into my roots.

Did you see “Cats”, rb? sounds like it… When I see it live, that song always makes me cry just a little. I’ve seen it about ten times. All those Andrew Lloyd Webber operas, love most all of them. Evita and JC Superstar are my two faves.

P.S. Xerxes would be a good name for a parrot, but he might have trouble pronouncing it. They so like to scream their own names.

Off-topic, but I have to get to 200 somehow. When visiting a bar for a second time, I recognized the bartender, but couldn’t remember her name. Well, she remembered me and said “Ken, you remember, it’s the same name as a city in England” I remembered immediately that her name was Chelsea, but simply had to say “Hi, Liverpool, get me a pitcher of MGD.”
