I love Mormons they are so interesting to me. Never did me any harm unless you think being overly nice is an issue to be hung for.

They certainly have some far out views. Has anyone seen the South Park with the Mormons? It’s hilarious.

Their views are not that far out. God’s powers surely could have met the New World. The whole world is his in the first place. And seeing as how the ancient Mayans said their calender was given to them by a Bearded Man(Beards were not cool for these areas at the time.. But hmmmmm.. they were for Jews, like good ol JC) with pale skin.. Who road to them off of the ocean on a four legged beast (These were not native to the area at the time.. But a mule is a for legged beast ain’t it). Just a thought.. Some quick connections in history.

Nice one, AL. I notice that Mormons and JWs go door to door frequently still. It was common for Christians to witness that way too back in the 70’s and 80’s, but less so now. Any comment?

I sure didn’t get on the internet to go about professing my faith, it’s kinda cool how it’s ended up that way. Ah the wonders of modern technology. I think one of my favorite aspects of interacting on the ol’ web is I can listen to music rather loudly at the same time.

I confessed my computer illiteracy in that other thread, my boyfriend has one of those thingies, myspace site. He also manages my computer stuff for me so I can remain blissfully unaware.. (and completely uninformed). It also frees up my time so I can read every book ever written. That is one of my goals in life, maybe impossible, but please don’t shatter my dreams! I’ll have to learn Braille and every other language soon, I AM starting to run out of books written in English. (There he goes, making fun of the blind now, he is such a hater!) Can this kind of dialogue be done in Braille? just asking…Computer illiteracy, remember.

I actually like talking to those people, if only to experience their mindset firsthand. One time they came to my door after we’d had a party and my friends and I sat there hungover and talking to them while they went on about the lord and read us passages. They’re nice, but too simple-minded. I feel like they never did any searching to find religion, like they just one day went “Oh, that sounds pretty good. Let’s stick with it.” It makes life simpler for them. They don’t have to ask the tough questions.

And why is it so strange to tell someone to have a nice day? You Brits are so stuffed up.
