The site seems like it’s been abandoned for a few months. Have we run out of things to talk about?! INCREDIBLE! hahaha, seriously though I haven’t been on the site for a while, its been months! Mostly been caught up in my teenage love-life and school, hahaha. But now that it’s summer I’m back up & running! only no one is hear to spiritually enlighten me! Not even Koo! I’m surprised! Hi sweetie, I’m bad! It has gotten so quiet here sometimes that I get depressed when I come on the site. I’m glad to have such a cheerleader, darling! rb had gone missing for months now and no one knows why (probably deported and locked in the Tower of London with no internet access lol) JT went missing before that, I know he won’t mind if i say that THAT was very strange… Satol and FiNiX, Aran, AL, and some others are still loyal subjects of the empire, I saw emptycalm awhile back, you know, QUIET!!! like you said Gal.

Part of my malaise is that I am using the computer ever-increasingly for work, so it’s slightly tiresome to be on it all the time. My love life is extremely chaotic right now (and i am going to explain that in your polygamy topic because it’s spot-on topic, but later, you’ll just have to wait, Gal!) I became a member of a new site and almost immediately, they asked me to help moderate it (the administrators saw my work here and really thought they needed me, who knew?) That site is like this one at its peak, busy with much more housework. Because this place has been so quiet, I may have been ignoring it, but OK, you’ve convinced me my dear, Empress Kookoo has returned!!!

One of our problems here is still a lack of new members. Now, this is our site, all of us, we have been told by our administration to treat it as if we own it. They allow us (really) almost complete freedom to do whatever we like, with an understanding that it is a completely open site and that minors are allowed and that we have established PLUR to try to govern our own behavior. (Notice that Auntie Kookoo said “try”) We still kinda don’t know why this is here, the movie thing was a given, but GSLU is continuing past that, as you can see. The administration is paying good money to maintain the site, we can’t expect them to advertise for it anymore (since the movie), advertising costs (they haven’t said they won’t advertise). So, we gotta figure out how to keep this experiment going. There’s gotta be a gimmick… This site is still unlike any other I’ve EVER been on. That MAY BE the gimmick! We gotta publicize it somehow without costing an arm and a leg. If people know about it and what it is, I think they will come.

AND GAL, THIS MESSAGE IS TO ALL OF US: DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS ON GETTING SOME NEW FOLKS HERE??? I’LL GO RESURRECT A TOPIC (I BELIEVE) AND COME BACK AND EDIT TO POST A LINK FOR YOU ALL OR START A NEW TOPIC ABOUT IT AND LINK TO THAT…

I just learned how a few weeks ago on the other site that I moderate. I keep learning new things. I have a lot of things to say about polygamy, so I’ll meet you there, but best give me a day or two.

I’m so sad that people have abandoned the site, I really loved talking to everyone, it was something I looked forward too a lot. =/ Well As for ideas on getting new members on the site, I guess we can go on word of mouth for now…I’ll try to come up w/ something else. Well I had checked in once or twice in the past few months just to make sure all was well…. and did not post anything. I have been exceptionally busy with work, getting my divorce finalized, spending quality time with someone new who ACTUALLY GENUINELY appreciates me, and the rest of my time I have been in space flying my ship around…

So the maine excuse is work I see…well I hope someone can figure out some ways to get this site new members, I’ll do my share of advertising thru myspace, although you have to ounderstand that my friends are all in highschool and aren’t at the same maturity level as me, so idk if religion will be any intresting to them.
