Reversing global warming with a giant straw

Unfortunately, this has not stopped. Trees are still being cut down and fossil fuels are still being burned. Damage has already begun to our ecosystem. The time is nearing, about five years, when there will be great loss of life due to global warming. Global warming is caused by man and must be corrected by man. At this time, the only viable alternative to prevent drastic destruction is to build a GIANT STRAW between the earth’s inner atmosphere and space. The straw needs to be 461 miles in length, 79 feet in diameter, anchored to the Earth’s surface, anchored and operated in space by a spacecraft and located over the equator. This needs to be done ASAP. It will take time to build the straw and spacecraft, set them up and get them operational. It will also take a lot of time operating the straw to thin the atmosphere and allow enough heat to escape. To be clear, the giant straw needs to be operational before 5 years in order to prevent drastic global damage due to global warming. The reason is very complicated, but I’ll try to make it as simple as possible so that it can be understood more easily. a) The ice at the polar ice caps is melting faster than most people think it is (noting that the amount of ice varies according to seasons). Check the latest news about the “polar ice packs” and the record low Arctic sea ice around September 16, 2007. b) If you recall or can refer to the map projections shown by Al Gore in the movie “An Inconvenient Truth” (2006) for coastal areas like Florida and New York City, the idea for those projections is faulty because it assumes an equal distribution of the water (from melted ice) around the world. Unfortunately, there will be more water around the equator than at the poles. All of the ocean waters on the planet are balanced with earth’s orbit around the Sun at this time. There is an equilibrium. When enough ice at the polar ice caps melt, there will an imbalance and more water at the equator due to the centrifugal force of the Earth spinning around the Sun. The shape of the planet will become slightly, but significantly saucer-shaped. This shape will increase Earth’s orbital speed, causing it to move farther away from the Sun and closer to the orbit of Mars until it is re-balanced. The change in the orbit of the planet Earth around the Sun when too much ice melts at the polar ice caps is the same as what scientists have called “Milankovitch cycles”. Again, the change in Earth’s orbit will be triggered when too much water accumulates at the equator. Moreover, from the time that Earth starts moving away from the Sun until the time it stops, the planet is likely to spin in an abnormal way (or rotate on its axis) to compensate for the change in shape. So afterwards, every location will have a new latitude and longitude. For example, Florida may end up at the new North Pole or where Russia was or where Australia was… c) The planet Earth will move further away from the Sun until it is “re-balanced”, which coincidentally allows the planet to cool. This is one of the reasons why global cooling follows global warming. Plenty of ice will form at the new north and south poles. When enough ice forms at the polar caps, the shape of the planet will change again. Then, the reverse happens. Earth will move back closer to the sun and near its current orbit. During this movement, there is also a slight possibility that Earth may spin again abnormally. During all of these abnormal movements of the planet, there will be no safe place anywhere on Earth. If you are at the wrong spot at the wrong time, then you may get hurt or be killed. This is a global disaster that is now certain to happen. The only question is on what date? There are many other ideas for solving the global warming problem, but none of them will get the job done within 5 years. Think about it. Most of these ideas have been known for well over 5 years. The ideas that are practical are not being done to a degree that will make a significant difference. While emission controls are a step in the right direction, there will still be more emissions to worsen the global warming problem year after year. Also, nobody is going to implement any of the impractical ideas, like creating more hurricanes. The ideas that could work like giant “sun shades” will take far too long to implement. Thinning the atmosphere by eliminating air (using whatever means possible) is our ONLY viable solution at this time. Unless this is done within 5 years, too much ice will melt at the polar ice caps with dire consequences. As of December 5, 2007, the minimum amount of air that needs to be eliminated in order to allow enough infrared heat to escape from the atomsphere of planet Earth to outer space and halt the melting of ice at the polar ice caps due to global warming caused by human beings is 229,256,020,550 liters (or 0.22938 cubic kilometers). As of December 8, 2007, the latest revised predictions for melting of ice at the polar ice caps by scientists are still inaccurate. The cause of the melting of ice at the polar ice caps is extremely complicated, but I will try to make it as simple as possible so that you can understand it. The melting of ice at the polar ice caps is mainly affected by sunlight, the temperature of the air above it, the temperature of the water around it and the temperature of the land below it. The LAND on the planet Earth has adsorbed, as the lower atmosphere has, a tremendous amount of heat caused by human beings. When you start a campfire or forest fire, you HEAT the LAND. When you heat buildings and houses, some of the heat is adsorbed by the LAND. When you drop bombs on the land, you HEAT the LAND. When you drill holes into the land, you HEAT the LAND. If you are a scientist, then it is very important for you consider what I told you regarding the sequence of events that will happen. So, the probability of NASA building its diamond space elevator in time to prevent the global disaster is also 0% because there is not enough money in their budget to do so. The ice caps melting have nothing to do with it. The centrifugal force (which is not actually a force) of the Earth orbiting the Sun is negligible compared to tidal forces. “This shape will increase Earth’s orbital speed,” The only thing that can do that is a force, as per Newton’s Second Law of Motion. The speculation and theory behind global warming causing an ice age is that the change in ocean temps will stop the ocean currents that normally bring a lot of heat to the higher latitudes, this drastically dropping temperatures away from the equator. “Thinning the atmosphere by eliminating air (using whatever means possible) is our ONLY viable solution at this time.” Viable? Do you have any idea how much energy it would take to make even a SLIGHT difference in the amount of air around planet Earth? Getting an air particle to escape the Earth’s atmosphere means giving it an initial velocity of 11.2 km/s (for comparison, the speed of sound is .344 km/s), and that’s assuming the air particle encounters zero friction on the way. This is not even mentioning that blowing air upwards through a giant straw would do NOTHING. The air would either reach the top or not, and would simply fall back to Earth. As discussed, the planet won't change orbit. The speculation and theory behind global warming causing an ice age is that the change in ocean temps will stop the ocean currents that normally bring a lot of heat to the higher latitudes, this drastically dropping temperatures away from the equator. "Thinning the atmosphere by eliminating air (using whatever means possible) is our ONLY viable solution at this time." Viable? Do you have any idea how much energy it would take to make even a SLIGHT difference in the amount of air around planet Earth? Getting an air particle to escape the Earth's atmosphere means giving it an initial velocity of 11.2 km/s (for comparison, the speed of sound is .344 km/s), and that's assuming the air particle encounters zero friction on the way. How would you plan on obtaining that energy? "If you are a scientist, then it is very important for you consider what I told you regarding the sequence of events that will happen." If any readers are scientists, or have taken a high school level physics class, I'd imagine they're laughing about as hard as I am right now. This is not even mentioning that blowing air upwards through a giant straw would do NOTHING. The air would either reach the top or not, and would simply fall back to Earth. Unless, of course, it is given escape velocity, which as mentioned above, would take a whole heck of a lot of energy. "Some air from Earth’s lower atmosphere will be “sucked out” by vacuum pressure into outer space." Nope. Space is already "sucking" as hard as it can, but Earth's gravity is winning. Containing a column of air in a giant tube wouldn't change a thing. "Also, the air is “forced into” the giant straw from multiple giant compressed air tanks that are filled by giant air compressor machines, in an air-tight system." Again, see above about how forcing air out of the atmosphere is ridiculously difficult.

The only time that the word “natural” appears in the article is at the bottom of the web page in the chart and is in regards to “Global Warming”, not Milankovitch cycles. If you do more research on Milankovitch cycles, you will find no one knows why these Milankovitch cycles occur.
