I think, first, his love is so perfect that we can barely understand what he has revealed to us. God loves unconditionally, which mankind cannot do in and of himself. God loves perfectly, which mankind’s love cannot come even close to or even compare.
Why God loves me, i may never understand at all, but I know that God created us perfect and He views us as his creation, broken by sin. God can never change and therefore his love for us cannot change in spite of mankind’s absolute sinfulness. What he created, he will not abandon.

So like I said I’ve been doing my HW. There’s still a lot of things I have to look in to concerning some stuff I found out & want to look into, so when I get the 411 on that I’ll make a thread or something. So Micheal the archangel=Adam=man made of the earth=Moses 3:7 “And I, the Lord God, formed man out of the dust of the ground…” Micheal=one who is like God. Don’t know exactly why Jesus & Adam are referred to as the same person sometimes? I’ll get back to you on that :)))

Well done, little Sister. Go with Adam as “man,”(made from earth, then look up what THAT means :)) then look up what “Michael” means. Incidentally, outside of Mormonism, Rosicrucianism, and a couple other disciplines of Christian esotericism, this equivalency of Adam and Michael is not known. Ponder it.
BTW, in older (LDS) Temple Ritual, Adam and Jesus are also the same guy. Worth thinking about.

Explore and research other religions, but try to see the similarities they have to your own, and be open- minded.

well thanks, and yeah I’ll defenitely looking into that. I do know that micheal the archangel is Adam. Adam means the eath or man of the earth. And I agree w/ you, I’ve been raised mormon yes, but I’ve been doing my own research on other religions to ee what else is out there and also a study of my own, I assure you my parents aren’t spoon feeding me when it comes to my faith, I learn things on my own by studying and doing my own personal research & asking questions :))) And since I won this battle 10 cool points to me!

BTW, technically, ya got me. Revelation does give it a mention. I tend to think of that particular book as somewhat outside the course of the rest of the Bible- it really is a book apart, and one of my favorites.

St. John’s Apocalypse (Revelation), my has only been interpreted as an “end of the world” scenario, involving a pitched battle between the Christ and his evil counterpart, the AntiChrist, since the mid- 19th century. It is properly understood as a gnostic/ hermetic text, using very old imagery (pre- Bible) to explain the process of enlightenment through the “Christos,” or Divine within. You will not find that in standard, modern Bible interpretations. You will see the same imagery and story in many ancient Sacred Texts, and I’ll guarantee you, in my study of what Joseph Smith wrote, and esoteric Mormonism (yep- you guys have us pesky rascals too) big Joe was totally clued into this.

This Apocalypse, BTW, was not the only one written- several Biblical writers wrote versions, all contained in the Nag Hammadi Library, which I strongly encourage you to purchase and read.

Start thinking about this passage this way, and make the following assumptions (you don’t have to believe them, just go with me, as an experiment):

If allegory (and it is), who is Michael? It helps if you find out what that Hebrew name translates to in English. Who is Satan? Again, helps to know what that term means. Who fell? Adam, in a sense, fell, yes? What does the name “Adam” mean? What does “angel” mean, in Hebrew?

Study, darlin’. Spiritual development is far too important to merely accept what a church, members of that church (even, sadly, your parents), or clergy have forced you to parrot back. You MUST work this out, using your own brain. It’s key, and I hope I’ve told you this when you are still at a young enough age not to be stuck in a spiritual box. Don’t even accept what I tell you at face value. Analyze it. And seriously, look up the answers to the questions I asked you, then THINK about what this passage might mean.

yeah, that’s why sometimes I hate this country and I want to leave and not live here, but then I think…all the countries in the world are either the same or worse, so I might as well just stick around and try to make a diffrence. I don’t watch TV at all. I spend most of my time on the computer doing research & just educating myself about random things going on in our planet. TV just has a lot of garbage to offer, even in the discovery channel, all the hell they ever show is shark week! lol. Anywhoo, national geographic channel has a lot to offer about history and the past, but everyonce in a while they put on really awesome shows which is where I learned about that Pahoti thing & I also saw an episode about the history of cocaine. Very informative. Radio music is all garbage. All the songs say the same thing only its a diffrent beat there playing. Which is why I prefer the rock genre. All the songs are about something diffrent, there more personal, and the beats are wicked sick as well :)))

It’s pretty irritating alright… I don’t watch a minute of TV in my day and the radio that plays in the office I try to drown out with music from my computer… but the same worthless garbage excuse for news that you mention above still leaks through. It makes me pissed off and disgusted every time I hear it.

I was reading the “Whats REALLY going on” thread and was wondering, what can we do so that we can get the news to give us MORE. More ACTUAL NEWS. All I see on TV now a days is “This man got murdered in his bed, This woman was found dead and was raped, the gasoline station was jumped by 2 unknown suspects.” NONE OF THAT IS NEWS! We already know the crap that goes on everyday in our neighborhoods and in the country. But what about what’s going on behind the scenes! Why don’t they talk about the amount of plastic being dragged by the pacific gyre for more than 20 years until it’s finally spit out as microplastic which is releasing BEPHINOL-A into our water causing women to have miscarriages an chromosomal dammiage, mens swimmers to become unfertile,obesity,ADHD,diabetes, and so much more! Why don’t they talk about how this country is all about commerce and money and how big corporations are practically killing humans for money. Why don’t they talk about how Dove soaps is cutting down the forests in india to plant palm oil plants, a main ingredient in there soaps, and that by the time im 36 90% of india’s forests will be gone. Why don’t they talk about how Women in china are leaving there small farms in search of a polygomist marriage so they can survive. So many corrupt things going on in the world, and all they can find to talk about was who got shot today and who’s going to court to face prosecution tomorrow…My question is, is there any way, any website, or something that we can do so we can let the media know what we want to see and know about?!
